Sophir Jeune

Founder & Executive Director, Board Member

Sophir Jeune is a dedicated advocate, community organizer, and leader in domestic violence awareness, nonprofit management, and workforce development. In 2023, she founded Love Without Violence, Inc. (LWOV), a nonprofit committed to raising awareness about domestic violence, fostering healthy relationships, and breaking the stigma surrounding domestic abuse—particularly in Black and Brown communities. LWOV was born out of a highly successful awareness event, marking a pivotal step in Sophir’s mission to drive meaningful, lasting change.

As a passionate activist, Sophir has been at the forefront of efforts to strengthen security measures that protect the personal information of domestic violence survivors. Her work is rooted in education, advocacy, and creating safe spaces for open dialogue on domestic violence prevention and recovery.

Beyond her nonprofit work, Sophir has extensive experience in business services and workforce development. She specializes in building strong employer relationships, designing impactful programs, and leading initiatives that connect individuals with meaningful career opportunities. Her expertise in program development, strategic planning, and partnership-building has consistently driven positive outcomes, empowering both individuals and organizations.

Proud of her Haitian heritage, Sophir is deeply committed to making a lasting impact in her community. Through her advocacy, leadership, and dedication, she continues to inspire, uplift, and create pathways for positive social change.
